Tazarotene, active substance of DERMIUM®, is a member of the acetylenic class of retinoids.
In contact with the skin, it is converted to it’s active free form, tazarotenic acid, by disruption of ester bonds.
It is indicated for the topical treatment of mild and moderate plaque psoriasis occupying up to 10% of the skin surface
